One can argue of original meanings of Celtic symbols but what matters most is what speaks to the wearer of these rich Irish symbols.
Celtic
Knot:
Symbolic of connectedness, continuity and eternity (no beginning,
no end).
Celtic symbolism is a matter for debate. The Celts existed for centuries without a written language to explain the various designs the evolved over the many years the Celtic culture survived.

Celtic Eternity Symbolism

Triskelle Symbolism
A Triskelle is also
known as a Triskelion which means "three legs". The term Triskelle also
known as triquetra.
Some additional meanings of the Triquetra or Triskelle are in three's based
on the three legs of the symbol:
Spirit, Mind, Body.
Father, Son, Holy Ghost
Mother, Father, Child
Past, Present, Future
Power, Intellect, Love
and there can be more of these types of meanings depending on the time frame
the symbol was used.
Additionally the symbols of the three legs can mean Otherworld, Mortal World and Celestial World.
The Otherworld:
Where spirits and gods live.
The Mortal
World:
Where people live.
The Celestial
World:
Where unseen energies move about. Like the forces of sun, moon, wind and
water.

Infinity or Eternal Knot:
Many of the Celtic knots have no beginning or end and as a result have been
dubbed Celtic infinity pendants or Eternity knots.
Religion Pendants:
Eternity is a religious symbol as well so the Celtic Eternity pendants are a religious pendant as well.
The Trinity Knot is also considered a Religious symbol. The Trinity knot has three corners on each design. These three corners have been adopted by Christians to represent the Holy Trinity. One corner for each member of the Holy Trinity.
The Celtic circle represents eternity or infinity as well because the line has no beginning or end. So if Celtic knot pendants have a circle in the symbol then it is also a religious icon.
